Watumishi Housing Investments (WHI) invites qualified and dynamic Public Servants interested in joining the organization through transfer to apply for the following vacant position.
About WHI
Watumishi Housing Investments (WHI) was established in 2013 to implement the Public Servants Housing Scheme (PSHS). The organization is a property developer and a licensed fund manager responsible for managing the Watumishi Housing REIT (WH-REIT).
Position: Senior Finance Management Officer
Number of Posts: 1
Duty Station: WHI Head Office, Dar es Salaam
Salary Scale: WHIS 6
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Analyzing project financial performance.
- Developing budget frameworks for development projects.
- Conducting project feasibility studies and preparing financial projections.
- Monitoring the project development finance portfolio.
- Monitoring project costs against budgets and forecasts.
- Managing project financing arrangements and debt instruments.
- Identifying, monitoring, and managing project development risks.
- Providing project financial updates to key stakeholders.
- Conducting real estate market studies and analyzing trends for investment opportunities.
- Analyzing working capital and providing appropriate recommendations.
- Analyzing the Company’s budget, revenue, and expenditure trends and preparing/updating financial management guidelines.
- Contributing to long-term financial planning.
- Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
- Real Estate Finance and Investment
- Accounting
- Finance
- Commerce
- Business Administration (majoring in Accounting or Finance)
- Or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of working experience in a related field.
