About UDART

UDA Rapid Transit Plc (UDART) is a company incorporated in the United Republic of Tanzania under the Companies Act, Cap. 212 R.E. 2019 on 19 December 2014 with Certificate of Incorporation No. 113954.

UDART is the Interim Bus Operator for Phase I of the Dar es Salaam Bus Rapid Transit (DART) System.

The company invites applications from qualified and competent Tanzanian citizens to fill the position of Senior Internal Auditor I.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in any of the following fields:
  • Auditing
  • Accounts
  • Finance
  • Commerce
  • Business Administration (majoring in Accountancy or Finance)
  • Or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Must possess:
  • Certified Public Accountant qualification (CPA (T)), or
  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants qualification (ACCA), or
  • Any other equivalent professional qualification recognized by NBAA.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of working experience in a similar or related position.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting special audit investigations.
• Verifying the authenticity and accuracy of internal financial statements.
• Providing recommendations on improving company performance.
• Conducting value-for-money audits on institutional assets and development projects.
• Advising on audit guidelines and recommending effective internal control systems.
• Performing any other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
