SBC Tanzania Limited is a leading beverage company engaged in the manufacturing, distribution, and sales of PepsiCo brands across Tanzania. The company is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join its team at the Mbeya Plant.

Key Responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance

• Create, plan, and implement planned preventive maintenance programmes.
• Review plant and machinery systems to ensure reliable and efficient operations.

Minimise Downtime

• Proactively identify and implement solutions to maintenance issues.
• Work closely with the Production team to ensure repairs cause minimal disruption to operations.

Spare Parts Control

• Manage the storage and ordering of spare parts.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and report any discrepancies.

Safety and Team Training

• Maintain safe systems of work.
• Ensure proper housekeeping within the engineering and maintenance areas.
• Organise and facilitate training for engineering staff.

Entry Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience

• At least 6 years of experience in a related field.

Key Skills

Candidates should have the following skills and competencies:

• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Predictive maintenance knowledge.
• Strong understanding of safety and compliance.
• Training and supervision skills.
