Role Summary
The successful candidate will lead the sales and growth of trade finance and working capital products, including:
- Letters of Credit
- Bank Guarantees
- Supply Chain Finance
- Invoice Discounting
The role involves originating, structuring, and closing complex trade finance deals while building strong client relationships and collaborating with internal teams to provide customized financial solutions across Tanzania and regional economic corridors.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales strategy and revenue growth for trade finance products
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Structure and close complex transaction banking deals
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Analyze market trends and customer needs
- Collaborate with internal product and solutioning teams
- Provide tailored working capital solutions to clients
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and audit requirements
- Contribute to client experience and ESG initiatives
- Identify process improvements and operational efficiencies
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Finance
- Economics
- Business Administration
- Or related field
Preferred
- Master’s Degree
- Trade Finance Certifications such as:
- CDCS
- CSDG
- CTFP
Experience Requirements
