About BRAC Maendeleo Tanzania

BRAC Maendeleo Tanzania is part of a leading development organisation that commenced operations in Tanzania in 2006. The organisation focuses on thematic areas including agriculture, youth and women empowerment, food security, and livelihoods.

About the Programme

The Mastercard Foundation, in partnership with BRAC International (BI), is implementing an initiative designed to create a positive and measurable impact on 1.2 million adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) across seven countries in East and West Africa: Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Uganda.

There is an increasing need to support adolescent girls and young women living in poverty, a situation further amplified by the global pandemic.

Through this partnership, scalable economic development approaches will be delivered within communities to strengthen the agency and voice of AGYW. The initiative aims to provide young women with opportunities to fulfil their aspirations, achieve sustainable livelihoods, and engage in advocacy activities.

BRAC Maendeleo Tanzania is seeking applications from competent, dynamic, and self-motivated individuals to fill the position of Senior Officer, Human Resources.
