Job Title: Senior Officer – ICT
Location: Dar es Salaam

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain core banking systems and related applications.
Provide technical support and ensure minimal downtime for critical systems.
Oversee system backups, data recovery, and cybersecurity measures.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers on IT infrastructure and system upgrades.
Troubleshoot network and software issues promptly.
Ensure system compliance with ICT and banking regulatory requirements.
Support IT planning, budgeting, and implementation of new technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT, preferably in the financial or banking industry.
Strong knowledge of core banking systems, database management, and networking.
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, data protection, and IT policies.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
