Role Overview

The Site Engineer shall be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, supervision, and management of airport construction activities to ensure that works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract specifications and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of site construction activities.
• Coordinate all construction disciplines and subcontractors involved in the project.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, technical specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation.
• Oversee implementation of health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
• Monitor project progress and prepare periodic progress reports.
• Liaise with the Engineer, contractors, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure timely identification and resolution of construction issues and risks.
• Verify construction outputs and ensure adherence to approved methodologies.
• Manage workforce productivity and site logistics.
• Review and approve work programs, method statements, and construction schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Registration with a recognized professional engineering body is an added advantage.
• Must have served as a Site Manager or Site Engineer in at least one airport construction project completed or substantially implemented within the last ten (10) years.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in construction project management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale infrastructure construction projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
