Position

Solid Pipe Fabricator & Site Welder (2 Positions)

Location: Dar es Salaam

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate solid pipe fittings and other types of fabricated fittings according to provided drawings and customer requirements.
• Read and interpret piping drawings for fittings and site work.
• Operate and work with various fabrication workshop and site equipment, including cutting and lifting equipment, electrofusion/socket fusion and butt fusion welding machines.
• Join the field service team to carry out site welding and installation in accordance with customer requirements.
• Select, inspect, and use the correct equipment for assigned tasks.
• Complete Pipe Fabricator and Welding training whenever the company provides the opportunity.
• Follow all quality procedures and complete record forms as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean workplace and surrounding environment at all times.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Welding, Fabrication, Plumbing, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in plastics, butt fusion, electrofusion, or site work is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of quality and safety compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Valid driving license.
• Experience in site installation, pipe laying, and testing activities is an added advantage.
