🏬 Store Supervisor

Reports To: Operations Manager

🎯 Job Purpose

The Store Supervisor is responsible for supporting store profitability and sales performance through efficient operations, strong customer service, staff supervision, and adherence to company standards and policies.

The role also focuses on team development, operational excellence, and maintaining brand consistency.


🧾 Key Responsibilities

📊 1. Sales & Performance Management

  • Drive store sales and overall performance (P&L support)
  • Monitor store performance using company reporting systems
  • Implement corrective actions where needed

👥 2. Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise and support store staff
  • Coach employees and identify development needs
  • Support staffing, manpower planning, and succession planning
  • Ensure staff motivation and retention

🏷️ 3. Brand & Customer Experience

  • Ensure excellent customer service delivery
  • Champion brand standards in-store
  • Collaborate with brand teams and provide feedback on promotions and pricing

📈 4. Business Development & Market Insight

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Provide insights to improve store competitiveness
  • Support new store openings and operational decisions (including closures)

🏢 5. Operations & Mall Management

  • Oversee daily store and mall operations
  • Ensure maintenance and operational standards are met
  • Coordinate staff and contractors for smooth operations

🛡️ 6. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Conduct store audits and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with store policies (appearance, trading hours, signage, waste management)
  • Identify and report health and safety risks
  • Enforce corrective actions and compliance measures

🎓 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in:
    • Business Administration
    • Or related field

📌 Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in:
    • Store supervision or store management
    • Apparel or retail environment preferred

🧠 Skills Required

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership and people management ability
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to analyze performance data and trends

👤 Preferred Profile

  • Age: 25–35 years
  • Energetic, hands-on retail supervisor
  • Strong in operations and team motivation
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
