Herocean Enterprises T Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, review, and submit accurate and timely tax returns to the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), including VAT, PAYE, corporate income tax, withholding taxes, and other statutory levies.
• Continuously monitor updates to Tanzanian tax legislation and advise the company on compliance requirements and potential impacts.
• Maintain complete and well-organized tax records and supporting documentation for audits and TRA inspections.
• Liaise effectively with external auditors, tax advisors, and TRA officials.
• Support internal audit processes and ensure effective implementation of tax-related internal controls.
• Assist in preparing tax budgets and forecasting future tax liabilities and cash flows.
• Provide tax advisory support to other departments on the tax implications of business decisions.
• Perform regular reconciliations of tax accounts and promptly resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Must be a Tanzanian national.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience in tax-related work.
• Must have completed a full corporate tax audit.
• Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws, including the Income Tax Act, VAT Act, and TRA guidelines.
• Proficient in using TRA e-filing and tax management systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Native-level fluency in both English and Swahili.
Remuneration : 500,000-700,000.
