Job Summary
The Technology Solutions Architect supports both Technical and Sales divisions by delivering:
- Technical consultancy
- System design and architecture
- Commercial and proposal documentation
- Business development support
The role ensures that all solutions are functional, cost-effective, and aligned with client needs, while also contributing to financial evaluation and project feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Engineering
- Design integrated technology solutions within defined budgets and resources
- Develop:
- Technical designs
- System architectures
- Drawings and specifications
- Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Ensure solutions meet technical, operational, and commercial requirements
2. Pre-Sales & Business Development
- Support sales teams with:
- Technical proposals
- Bids and tender documentation
- Participate in site surveys and client consultations
- Contribute to winning new business opportunities
3. Technical & Financial Alignment
- Collaborate with:
- Finance
- Project teams
- Technical managers
- Ensure solutions are financially viable and cost-effective
- Conduct project financial reviews
4. Innovation & Technology Leadership
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in integrated security solutions
- Recommend new technologies and improvements
- Ensure solutions remain competitive and future-ready
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work internally with:
- Business Unit Heads
- Technical and Operations teams
- Engage externally with:
- Technology partners
- Suppliers and consultants
- Engineers and system integrators

Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Engineering
- IT
- Electrical/Electronics
- Design or related field
- Professional certifications in security, engineering, or risk management are an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years in pre-sales and technical roles
- At least 3+ years in infrastructure/security solutions at management level
- Experience delivering large-scale, complex technology projects
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of:
- CCTV systems
- Access control
- Time & attendance systems
- Visitor management systems
- Control rooms and monitoring systems
- Data centers
- Fire detection and suppression systems
- Perimeter security (electric fences, fiber, infrared systems)
- Integrated security platforms and automation
Tools & Systems
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Microsoft Visio
- CAD and/or Revit (essential)
Industry Exposure (Preferred)
Experience in sectors such as:
- Oil & Gas
- Hospitality
- Commercial buildings
- Healthcare
- Education
- Retail and financial services
Accountability & Performance
- Accountable to Technical Operations Manager
- Performance measured through:
