Mwiba Holdings is seeking qualified and customer-focused individuals to join its team as Waiters based at Mwiba and Serengeti Camps.
Job Summary
The Waiter is responsible for delivering outstanding food and beverage service in accordance with the company’s service standards and procedures. The successful candidate will ensure guests receive courteous, professional, and personalized service while maintaining high levels of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Serve food and beverages according to established service standards and procedures.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about:
- Menu items
- Ingredients
- Portion sizes
- Potential food allergies
- Recommend menu items and answer guests’ questions professionally.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
- Confirm customer orders to ensure accuracy before serving.
- Handle guest complaints politely, professionally, and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.
- Ensure assigned tables are properly arranged and prepared for service.
- Comply with all health, hygiene, and safety regulations applicable to food and beverage operations.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess one of the following:
- Certificate in Food and Beverage, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Diploma in Food and Beverage, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Management, or a related discipline.
Experience
Applicants should have:
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the tourism and hospitality industry.
