Job Summary

Triad Construction is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Wood Workshop Manager to oversee woodworking operations, manage the workshop team and ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily workshop activities, managing materials and equipment, coordinating staff and ensuring that all production activities meet the required quality standards and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily woodworking activities to ensure timely completion of orders.

• Manage workshop operations, materials, machinery and equipment maintenance.

• Lead and coordinate the workshop team, allocate duties and monitor staff performance.

• Ensure quality control throughout the production process and before delivery.

• Liaise with clients regarding product specifications, work progress and service-related concerns.

• Maintain a safe, organised and productive working environment.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Technical Certificate in Woodworking, Carpentry, Joinery or a related field.

• Proven experience in the woodworking industry, including workshop supervision or management.

• Sound knowledge of woodworking machinery, materials, production methods and finishing techniques.

• Strong leadership, planning, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
