Job Purpose
The Relationship Officer (Bancassurance) is responsible for driving the growth of life and general insurance products among bank and non-bank clients. Acting as a Branch Champion, the role focuses on boosting sales production, managing policy administration, conducting premium reconciliations, and delivering high-quality customer service and after-sales support.
Key Responsibilities & Weightings

Financial & Sales Performance (30%)

Drive sales of life and general insurance products by prospecting and closing deals.

Identify new business opportunities and manage client pipelines.

Ensure premium collection and account reconciliation across assigned branches.

Maintain daily tracking and regular reporting of sales figures.

Process and book insurance policies accurately and in a timely manner.

Maintain up-to-date client files and documentation.

Facilitate and support claims processing and follow-ups.

Ensure timely submission of operational and sales reports.

Provide after-sales support and ongoing insurance advisory services to clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, or a related business field.

Professional Certifications: Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (COP).

Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in banking, insurance, or related financial services.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with the Smart Policy System and MS Office Suite.

Strong understanding of banking and insurance products.

Competence in sales administration, client advisory, and policy processing.

Solid numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
