About Vega Electric

Vega Electric is expanding its electrical engineering team to deliver turnkey electrical solutions across Tanzania. The company is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals to fill the following positions.

1. Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare project cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

• Price and submit tenders, including conducting cost analysis.

• Support tender evaluation processes and contract negotiations.

• Monitor and control project costs, including variations.

• Prepare project cost reports and financial forecasts.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Experience in the electrical or construction industry will be an added advantage.

2. Sales Engineer – Electrical

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies for electrical solutions and services.

• Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions.

• Provide cost estimates and pricing for business proposals.

• Engage with clients, understand their requirements and recommend tailored electrical solutions.

• Support business development initiatives and contribute to market share growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Experience in the electrical or construction industry will be an added advantage.

General Application Requirements

Applicants should possess a degree in a relevant discipline, such as Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering or another related field, depending on the position applied for.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience is required.
