About the Site
The Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is located in north-west Tanzania, approximately 55 km south of Lake Victoria and 150 km southwest of Mwanza. The mine produces gold, silver, and copper and has been in commercial operation since 2001.
Position Overview
The Fuel Bay Attendant will be responsible for the safe handling, storage, and distribution of fuel and lubricants, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures by attending required training and meetings
- Safely measure, receive, and issue fuel and lubricants
- Maintain accurate records of fuel dips, receipts, and issuance
- Ensure timely fuel transfers to internal customers
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of fuel stations
- Report leaks and safety hazards immediately to supervisors
- Comply with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental policies
Qualifications
- Ordinary Level Certificate (Form IV)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role or industry
- Valid Tanzanian Driving License
Skills and Competencies
- Good communication skills in English and Kiswahili (written and verbal)
- Basic understanding of stock control and fuel handling procedures
- Strong time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to work in a safety-focused environment
