Operations Analyst
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will support daily operations, enhance efficiency in business processes, and ensure adherence to operational procedures while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Execute daily operational tasks with accuracy and minimal supervision
- Monitor workflows and ensure adherence to established procedures
- Prioritize tasks based on business needs
2. Issue Resolution & Monitoring
- Follow up on operational issues and ensure timely resolution
- Manage escalation processes when necessary
- Monitor internal tools, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability
3. Process Audit & Compliance
- Participate in process audits and support audit framework development
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
4. Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager on optimization strategies
- Contribute ideas during process review sessions
5. Training & Support
- Organize and support training sessions on internal tools
- Assist internal users in understanding systems and processes
6. Reporting & Data Analysis
- Assist in preparing reporting tools and dashboards
- Support operational data analysis and insights generation
- Ensure timely and accurate updates of operational and legal status
7. Collaboration & Communication
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Share insights, findings, and recommendations with management
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Task Execution: 100% completion of daily tasks within timelines
- System Performance: Maintain uptime and resolve all identified issues
- Training Impact: Conduct quarterly training sessions with at least 90% satisfaction rate
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Data Science
- Analytics
- Or related field
- Data Analytics certification is an added advantage
Experience
- 3–4 years in operations, analysis, or related roles
- Strong experience with:
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
- Data reporting and analysis
- Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL is an added advantage
- Proven experience in process evaluation and improvement
