Position Overview
The Field Practical Trainee Program is designed for students in their 2nd or 3rd year of university studies. It provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, apply academic knowledge in a real work environment, and develop professional skills.
Purpose of the Role
- Provide practical exposure to workplace operations
- Bridge the gap between academic learning and professional experience
- Develop skills, work ethics, and understanding of organizational culture
Key Responsibilities
- Gain practical experience in assigned departments
- Observe, learn, and apply theoretical knowledge in a professional setting
- Participate in training sessions, meetings, and team discussions
- Perform assigned tasks as part of the learning process
- Prepare and submit a final report/presentation on learning outcomes
- Build professional networks within the organization
- Identify and pursue learning opportunities for personal and career growth
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be a continuing student (2nd or 3rd year) pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution
- Good communication skills in English and Kiswahili (both written and verbal)
- Strong sense of responsibility and integrity
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and improve performance
