About the Role

Planet Lodges & Lairs Camps is seeking a skilled Digital Marketer to manage web content, email campaigns, and design assets across its hospitality brands. The ideal candidate will combine technical, creative, and analytical skills to support marketing and brand growth.

Key Responsibilities

Website Management

• Manage and update company websites using WordPress
• Ensure content is accurate, current, and well-presented
• Update property pages, rates, offers, and experiences based on marketing plans
• Monitor website performance (traffic, speed, broken links)
• Implement new pages, landing pages, and structural updates

---

Email Marketing

• Create and manage email campaigns using Zoho (or similar platforms)
• Develop newsletters, trade communications, and promotional campaigns
• Segment email lists for targeted messaging
• Track campaign performance and provide actionable reports
• Maintain mobile-friendly and on-brand email templates

---

Design & Branding

• Create digital and print design assets using Canva and/or Adobe Suite
• Develop promotional materials, email graphics, social media visuals, and presentations
• Ensure consistency with brand guidelines across all platforms
• Support marketing needs for trade events, fam trips, and sales materials

---

Additional Duties

• Support social media content creation when required
• Collaborate with internal teams on marketing initiatives

---

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 3–5 years in digital marketing or a related role
• Experience in tourism, hospitality, or safari industry (preferred)
• Experience managing multiple brands simultaneously

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in WordPress (page creation and editing)
• Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Zoho Campaigns)
• Strong design skills (Canva and/or Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Basic understanding of SEO principles
• Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)

Other Requirements

• Based in or willing to relocate to Arusha
