Purpose of the Role

CCBRT is seeking dynamic and skilled Anesthetists to strengthen its Anesthesia Department and provide safe, effective, and evidence-based anesthesia and perioperative care.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will:

• Provide anesthesia services for:
  • Surgical procedures
  • Obstetric care
  • Diagnostic procedures
  • Emergency interventions
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to professional standards
• Deliver perioperative care in accordance with:
  • National guidelines
  • Tanzanian professional standards
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Nursing, OR
  • Medicine
• Certification/Diploma in Anesthesia OR BSc in Nurse Anesthesia

Professional Requirements

Candidates must:

• Be registered and licensed with:
  • Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council, OR
  • Medical Council of Tanzania
• Hold a valid practicing license
