Role Overview
The Website Developer Officer will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and optimising the organisation’s digital platforms to ensure:
- High performance
- Strong user experience (UX/UI)
- SEO effectiveness
- Accessibility and security compliance
- Strong engagement and conversions

Key Responsibilities
1. Website Maintenance & Development
The successful candidate will:
- Maintain and optimise organisation websites
- Ensure responsive, fast, and user-friendly platforms
- Manage CMS updates (e.g., WordPress)
- Handle plugin maintenance and technical updates
- Ensure security and brand compliance
2. UX, SEO & Performance Optimisation
Responsibilities include:
- Improving website usability and accessibility
- Implementing SEO best practices
- Using UX principles (including AIDA framework) to improve conversions
- Enhancing landing page performance and engagement
3. Digital Campaign Support
The role holder will:
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams
- Support digital campaign development
- Implement website integrations and automation workflows
- Manage email campaign systems and segmentation
4. Analytics & Reporting
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring website and campaign performance
- Tracking user behaviour and engagement metrics
- Producing reports and insights
- Recommending improvements for conversion and performance
5. Technical Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement
The candidate will:
- Perform day-to-day technical website support
- Conduct quality assurance and testing
- Troubleshoot issues across digital platforms
- Continuously improve systems and workflows
- Apply best practices in web development
