About the Organization

BFS Microfinance Limited is seeking competent, self-motivated, and qualified young Tanzanians to fill Recovery Officer positions across its branches in the Lake Zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Recover outstanding debts assigned by the institution
• Develop recovery strategies for each case
• Follow up implementation of approved recovery plans
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly recovery reports
• Conduct field visits for payment collection and collateral assessment
• Prepare and document recovery plans and official correspondence
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

• Minimum qualification: Diploma
• Maximum qualification: Bachelor Degree

Accepted fields include:

• Business
• Finance
• Economics
• Social Sciences
• Related fields

---

Experience

• At least 2 years’ experience as:
  • Recovery Officer
  • Loan Officer

Experience should be from a reputable institution.

Age Requirement

• Minimum age: 20 years
• Maximum age: 35 years

---

Required Skills

• Debt recovery and collection skills
• Negotiation and communication skills
• Report writing and documentation ability
• Fieldwork and client follow-up capability
• Understanding of financial and legal compliance procedures
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
