BFS Microfinance Limited is seeking qualified, competent, and self-motivated young Tanzanians to join its team in various branches across the Lake Zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential markets and recruit new borrowers/customers
• Conduct loan appraisal and assess borrower eligibility
• Analyze business quality and profitability potential
• Monitor loan repayments and portfolio performance
• Follow up on late repayments
• Recover defaulted loans at individual and branch levels

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

• Minimum: Diploma
• Maximum: Bachelor Degree

Accepted fields include:

• Business
• Finance
• Economics
• Social Sciences
• Related fields

---

Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as:
  • Loan Officer
  • Recovery Officer

Experience must be from a reputable institution.

Age Requirement

• Minimum age: 20 years
• Maximum age: 35 years

Required Skills

• Sales and customer acquisition skills
• Loan appraisal and credit analysis
• Recovery and debt collection skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage loan portfolio performance
