Position Overview

Zee Collections Company Limited is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of its growing liquor distribution business serving customers across Zanzibar and mainland Tanzania.

The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, inventory cost control, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Monitor business performance and provide strategic financial recommendations to management.
• Analyze profitability across products, distribution channels, and regions.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and reporting.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Monitor cash flow and maintain healthy working capital levels.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Manage payroll processes and financial obligations.

Compliance & Audit

• Manage taxation and statutory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate and support financial audits.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Inventory & Cost Control

• Work closely with Operations and Sales teams to manage inventory costs.
• Oversee stock valuation processes.
• Ensure efficient inventory-related financial management.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Professional Certifications

• CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Finance role.
• Experience in FMCG, beverage, distribution, wholesale, or liquor industry is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Financial reporting and analysis expertise.

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Other Requirements

• Must be willing to relocate to Zanzibar.
