UDART operates as the Interim Bus Operator for Phase I of the Dar es Salaam Bus Rapid Transit (DART) System.

The company invites applications from qualified and competent Tanzanian citizens to fill the position of Internal Auditor II.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in any of the following fields:
  • Auditing
  • Accountancy
  • Finance
  • Commerce
  • Business Administration majoring in Accountancy or Finance
  • Or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Professional qualification in:
  • CPA (T), or
  • ACCA, or
  • Any other professional qualification recognized by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA).

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Analyzing preliminary internal audit reports and recommendations.
• Assisting in the preparation of annual internal audit plans.
• Monitoring and evaluating:
  • Internal control systems
  • Risk management processes
  • Corporate governance practices
• Conducting audits of development projects.
• Coordinating:
  • Routine audits
  • Special audits
  • Technical audits
  • Audit investigations
• Preparing internal audit reports.
• Reviewing management responses and verifying implementation of audit recommendations.
• Monitoring follow-up actions and ensuring implementation of audit recommendations.
• Performing any other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
