The company is currently seeking qualified and experienced personnel to join its Mbeya Plant as Quality Assurance Officers.

Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Officer will coordinate the testing and inspection of products at different stages of the production process.

The role involves collecting and evaluating quality data to maintain product quality, reliability, and compliance with established standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and demonstrate knowledge of production-line processes.
• Conduct chemical testing and apply appropriate standardisation methods.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to beverage production requirements and specifications.
• Inspect raw materials and packaging materials and approve them according to established requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of raw material and packaging inspections.
• Conduct regular plant audits to identify gaps in process controls.
• Implement corrective actions following identified quality issues.
• Conduct product market surveys and test samples.
• Ensure production processes consistently operate within required specifications.
• Accurately record and document analysis results, process compliance, inspections, and production-line observations.
• Communicate effectively with Maintenance and Production teams to ensure proper functioning of process-control devices.
• Prepare reports identifying and validating deviations from established standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science & Technology or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
