The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania (KKKT) – Northern Diocese is a religious institution that owns and operates various social and economic institutions. In strengthening the management of its resources, the Northern Diocese announces the following job vacancies:
1. Finance Coordinator (Accountant – Grade II)
Position Objective To manage and coordinate all financial activities of the Diocese professionally, ensuring transparency, accuracy of financial records, and optimal use of resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all accounting and financial activities
- Ensure proper collection and safe custody of revenue in accordance with financial regulations
- Coordinate the preparation and implementation of departmental budgets
- Lead and supervise staff in the Finance Department
Applicant Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business or related fields.
- Professional qualifications (CPA (T), ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Must be registered with NBAA
- At least 5 years of experience (minimum 3 years in a leadership position)
- Integrity and Christian ethics
- Age: 30 – 45 years
2. Head of Real Estate, Land and Buildings Department
Position Objective To efficiently manage all immovable assets of the Diocese, ensuring they are well maintained, developed, and utilized productively in accordance with laws and development plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all land and building assets of the Diocese
- Coordinate construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of buildings
- Manage contracts for construction and maintenance projects
- Conduct thorough evaluations and feasibility studies for property development projects
Applicant Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Estates Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field
- Must have professional registration (engineers/architects)
- At least 5 years of work experience (minimum 3 years in leadership)
- Ability to plan strategically and manage projects
- Age: 30 – 45 years
3. Information Officer of the Diocese
Position Objective To manage communications and information of the Diocese, ensuring information is collected, processed, and disseminated efficiently to strengthen the image and stakeholder relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, edit, and disseminate official information of the Diocese
- Take photographs and record important events
- Manage social media platforms and the website
- Design and prepare communication content
- Identify digital platforms to promote the Diocese’s activities
Applicant Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or related field
- At least 3 years of experience
- Good skills in communication and social media
- Professional registration (journalism accreditation)
- Integrity and Christian ethics
- Age: 30 – 45 years
Salary and Benefits Salary and benefits will be offered according to the staff development structure of the Northern Diocese.
