The Key Purpose of this role is to support the optimum use of RTM Tech and support frontline adoption.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Run spatial analysis to identify geographical gaps, outlets sliced on map based on required profile (volume, segmentation, sales manager area, sales rep area) to best deploy resources and cover geographical gaps optimally
- Take accountability for the Tech support of BEES Suite (BEES Customer, BEES Force, BEES Care, BEES Grow).
- Ensure system bugs are escalated and addressed
- Take accountability of DMS Distributor inventory; ensure timely re-imbursement by the distributor for issued inventory. Keep an up-to-date asset database
- Provide operational support to the field Sales and distribution team
- Make timely changes to the DMS system to ensure smooth transactions by Sales team and distributor team e.g. product changes, price changes, customer profiles, etc.
- Profile new customers, upload of customers in DMS system and create route plans to minimize system tardiness
- Make changes to schedules as and when requested, and upload
- Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports on CXC KPI performance
- Manage back office for all tech systems; Sales force, DMS
- DMS Database management.
- Take charge of Team trainings pertaining to new Tech and tech updates.
- Lead trainings of teams in BEE Academy
- Liaise with BU, zone and global DTech teams on issue resolution, user requirements and new updates.
- Support the RTM function in the optimum use of all Tech.
Key Attributes and Competencies:
- Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and Python
- Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
- Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analysing
- Adapt at using data processing platforms like Hadoop and Apache Spark
- Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, Qlik
- Knowledge of how to create and apply the most accurate algorithms to datasets to find solutions
- Problem-solving skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Adapt at queries, writing reports, and making presentations
- Team-working skills
- Verbal and Written communication skills
- Proven working experience in data analysis
- Self-starting, agile and self-driven
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree level qualification or equivalent, preferably in Commerce or Science Graduate with strengths in Maths, stats, economics or other commercial courses
- 2 to 5 years of relevant commercial experience, including experience of modelling and analysis
- Experience in reporting set up, analytics and sales insights.
- Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, programming (JavaScript, XML, or ETL frameworks), databases.
- Experience in FMCG company.
