1. Sales Office Intern

The Sales Office Intern will support the Sales and Business Development team in expanding market reach, managing pipelines, and contributing to revenue growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development Support: Identify and profile prospective clients, support market mapping, and participate in client visits and sales meetings.

Sales Operations & Lead Management: Track and manage sales leads, update customer records, and prepare weekly/monthly sales performance reports.

Client Relationship Support: Assist with after-sales communication, follow up on customer satisfaction, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve basic concerns.

Market Intelligence: Collect and analyze competitor information and prepare simple market trend summaries for management.
Qualifications & Core Competencies

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (or ongoing studies) in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

2. Accountant

Employment Type: Full-time
Role Purpose
The Accountant ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the company’s financial records. This disciplined role manages day-to-day accounting functions, reconciliations, payroll inputs, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
-
Bookkeeping & Financial Recording: Record all financial transactions in the accounting system, maintain the general ledger, and manage fixed asset records.
-
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process supplier invoices, monitor ageing receivables, manage payment structures for contractors/suppliers, and actively minimize bad debt exposure.

Payroll & Statutory Compliance: Prepare monthly payroll inputs with the HR Manager. Calculate, file, and remit PAYE, NSSF, WCF, and VAT returns to the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) within deadlines.

Reporting & Internal Controls: Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Adhere strictly to internal controls and submit a Weekly Finance Activity Report every Friday by 16:00 hours.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. CPA(T) ongoing student status is strongly preferred.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on accounting experience (preferably in a commercial environment). Fresh graduates with high pass marks are also preferred.

Software Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and TRA systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Sage, IDRAS) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of Tanzanian tax laws and statutory requirements.
3. Customer Care Officer

Role Overview
Lumac Tanzania is seeking a warm, professional, and highly communicative individual for its Dar es Salaam call center. This role is the “first voice” a client hears and focuses on building lasting client relationships with consistency and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
-
Inbound Call Management: Answer incoming calls promptly using the Lumac Customer Service Script. Record interactions in the customer management system and escalate unresolved issues to ensure clear next steps.

Outbound Client Communication: Follow up on project lifecycles, appointments, and pending quotations. Send order updates, payment reminders, and invite prospects to schedule showroom visits.

Brand Representation: Handle complaints with patience and empathy. Maintain general knowledge of the core Lumac product range to describe it confidently.

Administration: Maintain daily call logs, manage WhatsApp/Email inquiries within turnaround times, and submit a brief weekly call summary to the HR Manager.
Qualifications & Experience

Education: Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Public Relations, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center role. Prior experience in a mobile network call center is an added advantage.

Languages: Full fluency in both spoken Swahili and English (both used daily).
-
Attributes: Clear and pleasant telephone voice, outstanding verbal communication, basic computer literacy (MS Office, WhatsApp Business), and emotional resilience.
