Position: Electrician
Location: Pwani Mkuranga, Tanzania
Remuneration: TZS 500,000 Gross Salary
Job Summary
Herocean Enterprises Tanzania Limited is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical systems and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults and system failures.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical installations.
- Maintain and repair electrical control panels, transformers, generators, and industrial machinery.
- Ensure all electrical work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently with minimal supervision when required.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education
- Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of practical experience in industrial electrical maintenance and installation.
Technical Competencies
- Proven ability to install, inspect, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Familiarity with electrical control panels, transformers, generators, and industrial machinery.
Safety Knowledge
- Good understanding of electrical safety procedures, regulations, and standards.
Core Competencies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Added Advantage
- Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting and documentation.
