ACCOUNTANT

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting and Finance.

Minimum of two (2) years of relevant working experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Good knowledge of IFRS/IAS and accounting principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks, or Tally prime.

Good knowledge of taxation matters in both Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar.

Awareness and understanding of the maritime, shipping, and logistics industry will be an added advantage.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
NOTE:

Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification will be considered an added advantage.
