The company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fuel Officer who is proficient in computer applications and the SAP system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and control all fuel operations, including receiving, issuing, storage, and reconciliation.
• Monitor fuel stock levels and ensure the accuracy of fuel records.
• Process fuel transactions and maintain accurate data in the SAP system.
• Generate reports and analyse fuel consumption and trends.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and safety procedures.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on fuel-related matters.
• Ensure efficient use of fuel while reducing losses and wastage.
• Support audits and provide the necessary documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Purchasing and Supplies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fuel management or a related role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with the SAP system is mandatory.
• Knowledge of the Employment and Labour Relations Act (ELRA) and occupational health and safety will be an added advantage.
