Job Summary

The Accountant II will be responsible for performing accounting functions including financial reporting, payment verification, reconciliations, transaction processing, and preparation of financial records in accordance with institutional procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare revenue and expenditure reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Conduct pre-auditing of payment vouchers.
• Prepare accounting vouchers.
• Receive and process cash and cheque payments.
• Perform cash disbursement activities.
• Post financial transactions into ledger accounts.
• Prepare various accounting reports.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in any of the following fields:
  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Commerce
  • Business Administration majoring in Accounting or Finance
  • Equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

Professional Qualification:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA(T)).
