Accountant Job Vacancy – Elegex Logistics Limited

Elegex Logistics Limited is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and qualified Accountant to join their growing finance team. If you have a strong background in financial record-keeping and a passion for the logistics sector, you are invited to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Invoicing: Generate, review, and issue accurate client and partner invoices in a timely manner.
Reconciliation: Perform meticulous reconciliations of invoices, vendor accounts, bank statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and summaries.
Compliance & Auditing: Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, tax regulations, and financial standards.
Transaction Tracking: Monitor payment maturities, track accounts receivable and payable, and assist with operational financial workflows.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Finance and Banking, or a closely related field.
Experience: Proven professional experience in an accounting or finance role (experience within the logistics, transport, or supply chain industry is a distinct advantage).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and modern accounting software/ERP systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict reporting deadlines.
