VACANCY: INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGER

Job Summary

The Information Systems Manager will lead the utilization and management of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) across the airline.

The role will be responsible for:

• Managing technology, information systems, people, and ICT-related processes across the airline.
• Advising senior management and the Board on opportunities to maximize the benefits of ICT.
• Ensuring existing ICT operations are effective, efficient, and reliable.
• Keeping the airline up to date with developments in ICT within the airline industry.
• Supporting the adoption and implementation of relevant technological developments.
• Ensuring effective ICT operations across all areas of the airline’s network.
• Working closely with airline industry partners and service providers.

Job Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Master’s Degree in Information Technology is an added advantage.
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.
• Any recognized IT Manager certification.
• Cyber Security certification.
• Strong teamwork skills and high integrity.
• At least 5 years of experience in ICT management.
• Experience as part of a business management team will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of airline communications technology.
• Good understanding of IATA systems, processes, and standards.
