About the Programme
WWF International, in partnership with Amano, invites young Tanzanian leaders to apply for the Amano Fellows Program, a 9-month virtual mentorship programme designed to develop the next generation of conservation leaders.
The programme provides participants with opportunities to strengthen their leadership skills through:
- Expert-led workshops
- One-on-one mentor meetings
- Peer learning and discussions
- Leadership development
- Sustainable development training
Participants are expected to dedicate 5–6 hours per month to programme activities.
Note: Participation in the programme is voluntary and does not include financial benefits.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a Tanzanian citizen.
- Be 21–30 years old.
- Demonstrate a proven record of creating positive impact within their community.
- Show commitment to inclusive conservation initiatives.
- Come from Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLCs).
- Be fluent in English.
- Have reliable internet access.
- Own a laptop or smartphone.
- Be available to participate in virtual sessions for 5–6 hours each month.
