Job Summary

Bagamoyo Sugar Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Nursing Officer (ANO) to provide quality nursing care, support medical procedures, maintain patient records, and contribute to effective healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and monitor patients’ vital signs.
• Administer medications and perform basic treatments under senior staff guidance.
• Perform medical procedures within the scope of practice.
• Educate and counsel patients on healthcare plans and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and prepare required reports.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
• Maintain Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), 5S, and hygiene standards.
• Supervise junior nursing staff and assist with duty rosters.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC) is mandatory.
• Must possess a valid practicing license.
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong patient-care, communication, teamwork, and record-keeping skills.
