POSITION: ASSISTANT TRANSPORT OFFICER

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

To supervise project sites, ensure timely arrival and proper use of trucks/machines.
To monitor and verify operators’ and drivers’ overtime across all departments.
To communicate with fleet users to deliver services promptly, support training for new staff.
To coordinate with Workshop for timely service and breakdown follow up.
To participate in disciplinary hearings to improve operator/driver behavior.
To handle health and safety issues, including accident and near miss reporting.
To ensure vehicles/machines are clean, maintained, with daily checks and proper records.
To oversee subordinates’ performance and take responsibility for results.
Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED

A diploma in Logistics and Transport Management, Diploma in Automobile or any other related field from a recognized Institution.
3 years’ proven working experience.
