About the Role

Hope Holding is seeking a results-driven and commercially minded Brand Manager to lead the growth and performance of the Skechers brand across Tanzania.

The successful candidate will oversee retail operations, drive sales and profitability, manage inventory and merchandise performance, and lead retail teams to deliver strong commercial results and an excellent customer experience.

This role requires a professional with proven multi-store retail management experience, strong financial and analytical capabilities, and the ability to develop and execute strategies that achieve business growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver sales, revenue, profitability, and overall business growth targets.
• Lead and manage all Skechers retail outlets across Tanzania.
• Drive commercial performance and identify opportunities to increase sales and expand the business.
• Manage inventory levels, stock availability, and merchandise performance across retail outlets.
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop high-performing retail teams.
• Champion the Skechers brand and ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
• Monitor retail performance and use commercial data to support business decisions.
• Ensure retail operations contribute to the company’s sales and profitability objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
• Work Experience: At least five years of experience in retail, brand, sales, or commercial management.
• Multi-Store Management: Proven experience managing multiple retail outlets.
• Financial Management: Demonstrated responsibility for profit and loss (P&L) performance.
• Sales Performance: A strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, coach, and develop effective retail teams.
• Commercial Skills: Strong understanding of retail business performance, profitability, and growth.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze business performance and use data to inform decisions.
