Job Summary

Herocean Enterprises (T) Ltd is seeking a responsible, disciplined, and experienced Driver to support the company’s daily operations by providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting company staff, management, and other authorized personnel while ensuring that company vehicles are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with Dar es Salaam roads and traffic conditions, be comfortable using navigation applications, and demonstrate punctuality, honesty, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport company staff, management, and other authorized personnel as required.
• Ensure timely arrival at designated destinations and adhere to assigned schedules.
• Maintain good knowledge of Dar es Salaam roads, routes, and traffic conditions.
• Use Google Maps and other navigation applications to identify efficient routes and avoid unnecessary delays.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and in good working condition.
• Keep company vehicles clean, presentable, and properly maintained.
• Apply basic vehicle knowledge to identify minor mechanical problems and respond appropriately in the event of a breakdown.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, mechanical problems, and maintenance requirements promptly.
• Ensure that vehicles receive necessary servicing and maintenance.
• Comply with traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
• Maintain professional conduct and protect confidential company and passenger information.

Requirements and Qualifications

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Proven experience working as a company driver or in a similar driving position.
• Possession of a valid driving licence appropriate for the relevant vehicle category.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Good knowledge of Dar es Salaam roads, routes, and traffic conditions.
• Ability to use Google Maps and other navigation applications.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting in the event of a breakdown.
• Good driving skills and a strong commitment to road safety.
• Punctuality, honesty, reliability, and a high level of responsibility.
• Professional conduct, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• A positive attitude and the ability to interact respectfully with staff and other authorized passengers.
