Assignment Overview
Purpose of the Consultancy
Kilimo Trust seeks a consultant or firm to design and facilitate a one-day training and team-building forum aimed at strengthening internal collaboration and organizational effectiveness.
The assignment goes beyond standard team building and is intended to:
- Strengthen collaboration and trust within teams
- Improve communication across country offices
- Identify teamwork and management challenges
- Enhance operational efficiency
- Support cross-country coordination
Key Objectives of the Assignment
The consultancy should deliver a session that:
- Strengthens professional relationships among staff
- Enhances teamwork, trust, and cohesion
- Identifies barriers to effective collaboration
- Generates actionable solutions for management efficiency
- Improves communication across country teams
- Supports overall organizational performance
Scope of Work
The selected consultant will be expected to:
1. Needs Assessment
- Review the current team dynamics and organizational context
- Identify training and collaboration gaps
2. Programme Design
- Develop a participatory and interactive one-day training agenda
- Ensure alignment with Kilimo Trust Tanzania’s operational realities
3. Facilitation
- Lead the full-day staff forum on 10 July 2026
- Facilitate sessions on:
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Communication effectiveness
- Management efficiency
- Cross-country coordination
4. Tools and Outputs
- Provide practical tools, exercises, and facilitation materials
- Encourage open discussion and problem-solving
5. Reporting
- Submit a post-event report summarizing:
- Key insights and observations
- Identified challenges
- Practical recommendations
- Follow-up actions

The consultant will provide:
Pre-Event
- Inception report including:
- Understanding of assignment
- Methodology
- Facilitation approach
- Detailed agenda
- Tailored training programme
During Event
- Facilitation of full-day staff forum (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
Post-Event
- Training materials and tools used
- Final report covering:
- Process overview
- Key findings
- Recommendations
