Objective of the Role
To oversee budgeting, financial planning, cost control, and management reporting processes in order to support strategic decision-making within the bank.
Key Responsibilities
1. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process.
- Coordinate periodic financial forecasting.
- Ensure alignment of budgets with organizational strategy.
2. Management Reporting
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Conduct variance analysis and performance reporting.
- Present financial insights to support decision-making.
3. Cost Management
- Monitor cost performance across departments.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend cost-saving measures.
4. Financial Analysis & Strategy Support
- Support financial modelling and strategic planning initiatives.
- Provide analytical input for business decisions and projects.
5. Data Integrity
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial reports and data.
- Maintain strong internal controls over reporting processes.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification is mandatory:
- CPA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
Experience
- 6–8 years of experience in:
- Management accounting
- Financial analysis
- Preferably within a banking environment.

- Strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes
- Advanced financial analysis and reporting skills
- Experience in financial modelling
- Strong understanding of cost control mechanisms
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical thinking
- Excellent presentation and reporting skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong decision-making support capability
