Job Description
Amana Bank is currently seeking a qualified Credit Analyst (Financing Analyst) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating financing proposals, maintaining portfolio records, and ensuring strict adherence to the bank’s financing policies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Policy Compliance: Adherence to the bank’s financing policies.

Proposal Analysis: Analyze, compile, and recommend financing proposals to the Head of department.

Relationship Management: Build relationships with Relationship Managers (RMs) and Branch Managers to improve the quality of business proposals and turnaround time on financing appraisals.

Risk Management: Utilize available industry risk analysis to identify and understand contextual threats to existing and potential clients.

Documentation: Ensure preparation of all documents associated with the financing process are in place immediately after approval by the authorized committee.

Review & Verification: Timely review all contracts and financing documents after preparation by the administrator and recommend signatures to the Head of department.

Portfolio Tracking: Maintain and update the portfolio diary.
Key Competency Requirements

Financing lending procedures.

Excellent report writing skills.

Analytical skills and interpretation of data.

Financial statements analysis.

Credit risk systems and processes.

Understanding of key economic/political trends and risks.

Knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer).

Knowledge of the bank’s products and services.
-
Shariah literacy.
-
Time management.
Qualifications and Experience Required
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any other field related to the industry.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
