Job Summary

SINORAY is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver responsible for operating company trucks and heavy-duty vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safe cargo transportation, vehicle inspections, maintaining transport records, and ensuring compliance with road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Safe Vehicle Operation & Delivery

Operate heavy-duty trucks such as:
- HOWO
- Scania
- MAN
- Trailers
- Similar commercial vehicles
Transport goods safely and deliver them within scheduled timelines.
Select suitable routes to minimize delays caused by:
- Traffic congestion
- Road conditions
- Construction activities
Ensure proper cargo handling, security, and load fastening during transportation.

2. Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance Support

Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Check:
- Engine fluids
- Tires
- Brakes
- Safety equipment
Identify basic mechanical problems and report faults to the workshop.
Assist with loading and unloading activities when required.

3. Compliance & Documentation

Maintain accurate records of:
- Trip details
- Vehicle movements
- Delivery receipts
- Fuel consumption
Follow:
- Tanzanian traffic laws
- Road safety regulations
- Company transport policies
Ensure safe handling of company vehicles and property.

Qualifications & Requirements

Driving License & Experience

Must have a valid:
- Class E Driving License
- Class D Driving License
Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a:
- Truck Driver
- Heavy-duty vehicle driver
Experience operating:
- HOWO trucks
- Scania trucks
- MAN trucks
- Heavy trailers
- Similar commercial vehicles
Experience in long-distance or commercial haulage is an added advantage.
