Overview

Job Summary

The organization is seeking a skilled Electrician with 2-3 years of experience in electrical installation, preferably within a furnace factory or similar industrial environment. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in furnace units.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical diagrams.

• Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform timely repairs.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.

• Support the commissioning and startup of furnace systems.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, with industrial or furnace experience preferred.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and industrial wiring.

• Skills:

  • Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PLC systems and control panels.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Fluent in Swahili and basic English language.
