1. Assistant Lecturer – Accounting and Finance (2 Posts)
Faculty: Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies (FOCB)
Reports to: Dean, FOCB
Duty Station: Chief Mazengo Campus, Dodoma
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Master of Business Administration specialising in Accounting, or Accounting and Finance; and
- Bachelor of Business Administration specialising in Accounting, or Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance (BAF).
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.5/5.0.
- Minimum Master’s GPA of 4.0/5.0, or equivalent.
Duties
With guidance from senior staff, the Assistant Lecturer will participate in:
- Teaching
- Research
- Consultancy and other public-service activities
2. Assistant Lecturer – Health Services Management (2 Posts)
Faculty: Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies (FOCB)
Duty Station: Chief Mazengo Campus, Dodoma
Qualifications
Applicants should have a Master’s degree in one of the following:
- Health Services Management
- Public Health
- Epidemiology and Biostatistics
- Health Systems Management
- A related field
A Bachelor’s degree in:
- Health Services Management
- Health Systems Management
- Business-related subjects
is also required.
Minimum GPA:
- Bachelor’s degree: 3.5/5.0
- Master’s degree: 4.0/5.0
3. Lecturer – Human Resource Management (1 Post)
Status: Re-advertised
Faculty: Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies
Duty Station: Chief Mazengo Campus, Dodoma
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- PhD in Human Resource Management.
- Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, such as MSc or MBA specialising in HRM.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration specialising in HRM.
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.5/5.0.
- Minimum Master’s GPA of 4.0/5.0, or equivalent.
Experience: Experience working in tertiary education institutions is an added advantage.
Tenure: Four-year fixed-term contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance.
4. Assistant Lecturer – Mathematics (1 Post)
Faculty: Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences (FaNAS)

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Mathematics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science with Education, specialising in Mathematics.
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.5/5.0.
- Minimum Master’s GPA of 4.0/5.0, or equivalent.

5. Assistant Lecturer – Computer Science (1 Post)

Qualifications
- MSc in Computer Sciences.
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.5/5.0.

6. Tutorial Assistant – Pharmacy (2 Posts)
School: School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SoPH)

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5/5.0.
- Registration with the Pharmacy Council is an added advantage.
Experience: Experience working in tertiary education institutions is an added advantage.
7. Nurse II (1 Post)
Department: University Dispensary
Reports to: Doctor-in-Charge
Duty Station: Chief Mazengo Campus, Dodoma
Qualifications
- Form IV Certificate.
- Ordinary Diploma in Nursing/Midwifery or Public Health Nurse Certificate.
- Must be registered.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a health centre or dispensary.
Main Duties
- Perform general nursing care.
- Provide maternal and child care services.
- Administer prescribed drugs and treatments.
- Provide health education on family planning, nutrition, vaccination, sanitation and child spacing.
- Maintain accurate and complete healthcare records and reports.
- Monitor patients for medication side effects and reactions.
- Perform other duties assigned by the reporting officer.
