CAREER OPPORTUNITY: PLAN INTERNATIONAL TANZANIA
Plan International Tanzania (PIT) is a child-centered organization that advances children’s rights and promotes equality for girls. We are currently engaging 4 enumerators to support a data collection exercise for the End line Evaluation of the Strategic Program Area Development (SPAD) project in Ifakara.
Key Deliverables

Training: Attend training on questionnaires, tools, and PIT policies; assist with pre-testing of tools.

Data Collection: Administer structured questionnaires to target groups and conduct Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs).

Digital Data Entry: Use tablets, smartphones, or computers to input and upload data into digital survey tools.

Quality Assurance: Follow sampling procedures, check for accuracy, and participate in daily debrief sessions.

Translation: Translate responses from Swahili into English and facilitate discussions with diverse groups.

Safeguarding: Uphold PIT’s Child and Youth Safeguarding Policy and ensure participant confidentiality.
Minimum Qualifications

Education: Must be a graduate from the years 2023 – 2025.

Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Ifakara.

Experience: Hands-on experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection methodologies from university.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in using digital devices (tablets, computers) for questionnaires.

Communication: Good English writing and communication skills; ability to facilitate community-level discussions.

Language: Experience in translating Swahili scripts to English.

Ethics: No history of criminal issues, including child or sexual abuse.
