Enumerators Opportunity at Plan International Tanzania

Plan International Tanzania (PIT) is seeking 5 enumerators to support data collection for the End line Evaluation of the Strategic Program Area Development (SPAD) project in Kisarawe.


Key Deliverables

  • Training: Attend sessions on questionnaires, tools, and PIT policies, and assist with pre-testing.

  • Data Collection: Administer structured questionnaires and conduct Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs).

  • Translation & Communication: Translate Swahili responses into English and facilitate discussions with diverse groups, including children and PWDs.

  • Digital Data Entry: Use tablets, smartphones, or computers for data input and ensure timely uploads.

  • Quality Assurance: Adhere to sampling procedures, check for completeness, and participate in daily debriefs.

  • Safeguarding: Uphold Child and Youth Safeguarding Policies, obtain informed consent, and maintain confidentiality.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Must be a graduate from the years 2023 – 2025.

  • Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Kisarawe.

  • Experience: University-level experience in both qualitative and quantitative data collection methodologies.

  • Skills:

    • Experience in Swahili to English translation.

    • Ability to facilitate community-level discussions.

    • Strong English writing and communication skills.

    • Proficiency in using digital devices (tablets, computers) for questionnaires.

  • Conduct: Must have no history of criminal issues, including child abuse or theft.
