CCBRT is committed to preventing lifelong disabilities and is actively involved in maternal and newborn healthcare services, including obstetric fistula repairs. Its Maternity and Newborn Wing serves as a referral center for high-risk and emergency deliveries in Dar es Salaam and the Eastern Zone of Tanzania.
Position Overview
CCBRT is seeking an experienced, energetic, and analytical Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to strengthen its Human Resource Department.
The successful candidate will support business units by delivering effective HR services through the HR Business Partnering approach and providing strategic and operational HR support to managers and employees.
Purpose of the Role
The Human Resource Business Partner will:
- Assess departmental HR needs.
- Interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Support the development of internal HR processes.
- Provide solutions to complex human resource challenges.
- Deliver value-added HR services to managers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering
- Work closely with line managers on employee management matters.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Support workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
Human Resource Administration
- Manage HR administration for assigned departments.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and labor regulations.
- Maintain employee records and documentation.
Performance Management
- Support performance planning, monitoring, and evaluation processes.
- Assist managers in addressing employee performance issues.
- Promote a performance-driven culture.
Recruitment and Selection
- Coordinate recruitment and selection activities.
- Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure recruitment procedures are followed.
Leave and Employee Relations Management
- Manage employee leave administration.
- Provide disciplinary and employee relations support.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of policies.
Training and Development
- Conduct training needs assessments.
- Support learning and development initiatives.
- Assist in identifying employee development opportunities.
Payroll and HR Systems Support
- Support payroll administration processes.
- Participate in Human Resource Information System (HRIS) implementation and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in a business environment.
- Experience conducting:
- Performance analysis
- Reporting
- Primary data collection
- Form design
- Data analysis
- Experience with payroll administration.
- Experience supporting multiple HR functions within an organization.
Required Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Other office productivity software
- Data analysis and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of payroll administration processes.
- Experience with HR information systems is an advantage.
