Job Overview

Masika Ventures is seeking a qualified Finance Officer who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with financial data.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting records, overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, maintaining financial documentation, preparing reports, and supporting compliance with financial procedures and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Prepare and post journals in the accounting system.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Prepare monthly:
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Cash reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in preparing:
  • Management accounts
  • Financial schedules
  • Financial reports

Tax Compliance & Documentation

• Support preparation of:
  • VAT schedules
  • PAYE schedules
  • SDL schedules
  • Withholding tax schedules
• Maintain proper documentation for TRA filings.
• Ensure compliance
